Biography
Andrei Surguchov, Ph.D. accepted Faculty position in Baylor College of Medicine in 1992. In 1998 he became a head of the laboratory in Washington University, St. Louis, MO. Currently, he is a Professor in Kansas University Medical Center and head of the laboratory in VA Medical Center, Kansas City, MO. He published 90 articles in high ranking scientific journals. He was invited in NIH Study sections and has been serving as an Editorial board member in 15 journal.
Research Interest
Protein folding and misfolding, mechanism of neurodegeneration, synucleins, microRNAs, regulation of gene expression.
