Filippo Berto got his degree summa cum laude in 'Management Engineering' in 2003 at the University of Padua. After attending the PhD course on 'Design Machine' at the University of Firenze, he worked as researcher in 'Machine Design' at the University of Padua. Since 2006 to 2013 he was assistant professor of Machine Design at the University of Padova, Department of Management and Engineering, Vicenza. Since October 2014 he is abilitated as associate professor of Machine design at the University of Padua. Since 1 January 2016 He is international chair of fatigue design at NTNU, Norway. Since January 2015 he is EDITOR of Fatigue and Fracture of Engineering Materials and Structures. He is in the editorial board of Theoretical and Applied Fracture Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Physical Mesomechanics, Materials Science Engineering A, Materials and Design and International Journal of Fatigue.
